What kind of paint can I use on my lather spair tire cover?

I have a spair tire on the back of my bronco. I purchased a lether tire cover and I want my grandchildern to paint some flowers on it. I will always be out side in all weather.

What kind of paint can I use on my lather spair tire cover?
I doubt it%26#039;s real leather, it may be vinyl. You can use any good acrylic paint for that. For better protection, consider spraying the whole thing once it%26#039;s done with a clear vinyl paint.
Reply:use duplicolor as seen on powerbocktv.com follow this link:

Reply:Since the leather is extremely flexible you can use regular old spray paint. Nothing you buy is going to keep the paint from not fading and wearing. The best thing you can do is to make sure you clean the leather very well, sand the leather before you paint on it (try and get the old finish completely off if possible, and spray on a nice coat (or two) of top coat finish. Make sure you tell the salesman at the hardware store that you are not looking for an acrylic top coat but one that will allow the finish to bend and not crack. This will allow the paint to last for several years.
