Wedding Pages???

heres the thing...I am having an outdoor wedding and will be walking across a bridge and down the aisle at my wedding...my two younger cousins are carrying the train of my dress, however, they are both females...traditionally if they are males they are called pages...what is the proper name for them if they are females. Also, am i responsible for purchasing their dreses?? Our wedding is in June, do you think an appropriate easter dress for both the %26quot;pages%26quot; and the flowergirl, and suit for the ring bearer would be appropriate?? they are all growing like weeds and im afraid ordering a flower girl/page dress from my bridal boutique would be outgrown before our big day! Any suggestions would be great! Thank you!

Wedding Pages???
I would still call the girls %26quot;pages%26quot; and because you are having an outdoor wedding, easter dresses and suits would be a fantastic idea, because they will cost less and it wont be so bad if they get them dirty or grow out of them quickly.
Reply:While I can%26#039;t tell you for sure if girls are also called pages (I think so, but probably someone else will have a better answer), your idea to buy the dresses/suit during the Easter season is excellent. Great way to save funds and make sure that the items fit.

Edit:

I just found the term %26quot;junior attendant%26quot; at this site:

That term may apply if you prefer not to use the term page.

Some more info on involving children:

Reply:Call them %26quot;paiges%26quot;... more feminine than %26quot;pages%26quot; also feel free to get them after Easter (clearance) dresses and the ring bearer an after Easter suit!

You only have to pay for their clothes if you want to. Their mom is responsible for the tab, just tell her what to buy!
Reply:Why on earth do they need %26quot;names%26quot;. They are all attendants like the bridesmaids and, yes, it would be appropriate for you to at least offer to pay for their dresses. Bridal shops charge horribly high prices for small dresses. Go through yellow pages and find a kids shop that carries first communion dresses. They%26#039;ll have lovely ones for $40. By next mont even SEARS will have gorgeous easter dresses or white communion dresses that will be cheap. Get the dreses a bit loose so if they grow in 4 monts, they can be altred a wee bit.
Reply:They%26#039;re called pages or train bearers, and neither term is gender specific.
