Decoration question?

Ok So i am stuck on how to decorate my tables. First of all i do not have a lot of money, but i have already purchased votives for the tables, at least four for each table,(table seats 10 by the way), and the hall is providing a hurricane centerpiece with a taper candle. Now i need to decide what i am going to decorate the rest of the table with?? I am using fall colors, the flowers for my wedding are red, orange and yellow gerberas, something like this but without the dark red:

http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u222/... and my invitations have fall leaves on them same colors, the dillemma i am having, is should i just sprinkle fall leaves on all the tables, or should i use Gerbera Daisy%26#039;s, or should i do something completely different all together??? Sorry so long, this has been bothering me forever! Any help is always appreciated!

Thanks so much

Decoration question?
buy some ribbon (at least 2 inches wide) and run it across the table like a runner. put the hurrican in the center and then put two votives on each side along the ribbon runner. you could make something to go around the hurrican with the gerbers and then sprinkle fall leaves along the runner. this would tie in all the pieces and look really pretty.

Reply:Personally, if you already have tapers and tealights, I think a few simple cut flowers laid on the table to add a little color would do just fine. Otherwise, ribbon that matches your colors crisscrossed on the table can be beautiful too. Have fun planning!
Reply:I like the leaves on table idea as long as they are quite small and scattered randomly, I would also have the gerberas floating in the centre of table in water with floating lit candles and some leaves as well....
Reply:Try adding some fruit to your centerpieces. Arange them around your hurricanes. It%26#039;s fairly cost effective and can be gorgeous if done right. Also, you could spray paint some walnuts gold and add those to the fruit.
Reply:I think I would do either one of three things ... I would either a) put chiffon in your colors around the votives to give a really romantic glow (like photo down below, but in your colors) or b) I would wrap ribbon around the votives in your colors to also bring color to the table or c) I agree and would do a table runner and then utilize some sort of live foliage on the tables - where you choose willow, or a fern filler of some sort.

If you do want to float flowers, I wouldn%26#039;t do any more glass - I would do something more earthen, more %26#039;grounded%26#039; like dark bowls or dark metal tin.
Reply:I don%26#039;t think you need to worry about doing too much. Your colours are BEAUTIFUL!!

The leaves are a nice idea, but some people might be worried that they would be kind of dirty - which is a big concern if it%26#039;s a formal event.

I think the candles are plenty. Maybe add coloured plate chargers (pieces of coloured paper/fabric underneath the dinner plates) to add some colour to the table, but I wouldn%26#039;t be too concerned.
Reply:Sounds lovely.

At my daughters reception, we put the tables in a u shape, everyone danced in the middle.

On the tables I found material at walmart for 1 dollar a yard, I just bought enough for all the tables. I took christmas lights, clear and wrapped in toile and swagged on the fronts of the tables and they looked beautiful. More candles, too. To make things more festive, I got a helium tank filled about 200 balloons tied 3 4%26#039; curling ribbon streamers on them, sprayed them with glitter glue, they just danced and glittered in the nights light, looked very good. The autumn leaves sounds very nice, You can find a website for ribbons and balloons really cheap, look under party favorites and also under paper goods. The curling ribbon is so cheap on those sites, you could get orange, red, yellow balloons spray gold, they would look great, also you can spray the table cloths to give a little sparkle in the night effect.
Reply:ok if you are creative and are able to get the materials,, how about geting large leaves and slightly spraying them with gold spray pain justlightly,

also try get some paper napkins in your colours and maybe the venue can fol them in to the linen ones, if u need to see what i mean email me and ill send you a pic of what i mean, this is very effective.

if yyou can get hold of some small square low vases or bowls what about floating the flower heads on.
